What is Mutamahin?
Mutamahin is an Arabic word that means “apprentice.” The Mutamahin challenge is a one of a kind opportunity for fresh university graduates to gain internship positions at some of the top institutions in Bahrain.
The challenge includes specific group and individual challenges in the form of workshops carefully designed to equip the participants with skills necessary to enter the workforce. It is designed in the form of a competition that aims to enhance the employability of all those taking part.
Mutamahin is more than just a competition; it is a great platform for participants to kick-start their career, improve their skills, and work with world-class trainers.
60 fresh graduates per annum will undergo a total of multiple training modules, once every week starting from February.
Each module will be covered in a workshop designed for a duration of 1 day to be conducted on a group and individual work approach.
Each module is taught by a highly qualified specialized trainer to ensure proper development of these specific skills and ensure a thorough grasp of the content being taught.
Throughout the program, participants will be continuously monitored and evaluated to select the top performers as winners who will be awarded internships at some of the top financial institutions in Bahrain.

Participants will be selected into the program using the following criteria:
- To be holders of a bachelor’s degree within the last two years or about to graduate in 2018.
- To be unemployed.
- To be fluent in English.
- To write a personal statement explaining why they would like to take part in the Mutamahin program.
- To pass the Interview with a Mutamahin team member.
Throughout the program, we would narrow down the top performing participants to select the finalists who would be eligible for the internship with top employers in Bahrain. Qualifying for the internship with employers will be based on the following:
- Overall performance of assigned activities, case studies, and post-training assessments
- Commitment and active participation in the program
- Interview with the employers
